Domain Registration

Just as you register the deed to your car, you need to register a domain name with a domain registrar. A domain name registrar must be accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), an international organization that provides oversight for certain Internet related issues, including domain names.
